Bond, who had worked with the Memphis Fire Department for 21 years, was shot and killed at Kennedy Park in Raleigh last Wednesday (15 July).

The 58-year-old was reportedly shot by Carlton Wells, who told police that he was sitting in a car with his girlfriend at the park when Bond approached them for sex, FOX13 reports.

According to an affidavit, Wells said Bond pulled up beside he and his girlfriend, Danielle Mack, where they were parked.
